The extension works locally. It has no account, analytics, advertising, or backend, and it does not transmit your URLs or configuration.
Label Env Tabs does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data, browsing history, website content, or extension configuration.
All URL matching and page-marker rendering happen locally in the browser. Label
configuration is stored only in chrome.storage.local. Temporary
per-tab marker snoozes are stored in chrome.storage.session and are
cleared when Chrome restarts, the extension reloads, or the tab state is removed.
The extension has no analytics, telemetry, advertising, accounts, backend, remote
configuration, remote code, or automatic outbound network requests. It installs
without broad URL or website access. Users may independently grant Automatic
Grouping Access, which exposes tab URL metadata without page content, and Page
Highlight Access, which permits markers on HTTP and HTTPS pages. Chrome labels the
optional tabs permission as browsing-history access; Label Env Tabs
does not use the History API, retain visited URLs, or transmit them. A user may
configure an optional HTTPS ticket link; that destination opens only after the
user explicitly clicks it.
JSON configuration leaves the browser only when the user explicitly exports a file. It enters the browser only when the user explicitly imports a file.
